Veracity Learning Passes xAPI 2.0 Conformance

Veracity Learning, a leader in innovative learning & performance analytics software, is the first commercial LRS to be xAPI 2.0 conformant by passing the ADL LRS Test Suite. Click HERE to view our certificate of conformance. A full list of xAPI conformant LRSs is provided here: https://adopters.adlnet.gov/products/all/0.

To prove conformance with the xAPI 2.0 standard, an LRS must pass over 1,400 tests and support the new 2.0.0 version changes mandated by the IEEE 9274.1.1 xAPI Base Standard (https://opensource.ieee.org/xapi).

The new xAPI 2.0 standard is an IEEE open source standard and used the IEEE’s open source process. IEEE 92741.1 is the base xAPI standard, with additional companion standards for xAPI profiles expected to follow.

To review the changes & impacts between the previous version of xAPI (1.0.3) and latest version (2.0.0), check out this report on the ADL website: https://adlnet.gov/publications/2021/07/adl-xapi-rmf-accreditation-project-final-report

Veracity would also like to recognize Jonathan Poltrack for chairing and leading the xAPI 2.0 standardization efforts at the IEEE. Several members of our team also served as contributors to xAPI 2.0, including Keith Bartolotta, Rob Chadwick, Tom Creighton, and Jason Haag.
